Gilliam Denies Prescience

The writer, director and one time animator of Monty Pythons Flying Circus, Terry Gilliam, has denied he has the gift of foresight after alarming similarities were spotted between Beavan, of Chevron Action Flash, and Gilliam’s illustration of a Gumby.

Over the past few days, Monty Python aficionados have noted an "astonishing similarity" between the dumb creature; famed for shouting words syllable by syllable, having ape-like physical mannerism and for saying the phrase "My Brain Hurts"; and the Gumby.

If Gilliams denials of prescience are to be believed then surely Beavan has been genetically modified and they are, therefore, related.
