Following on from BOBs achievements and recent article on their success on the Chevron website, Dane "toothless" Farmyard; Chevron Open Captain and GB Open member has made his feelings on the indoors success known to BOB squad member Lianne Elsdon "I know how good a win feels, you should be pleased with yourself". Despite always having to mention his own glories when discussing other people successes; Dane seemed genuine with his compliments. He even apologised for playing a joke on the Bob members "The article is not a write up of the weekend. It was... nothing and I'm sure most would take it in jest so I apologise if I offended".

Dave loving playing indoors
We'd like to point out that although comments in his earlier article suggested Dane wasn't a fan of indoors that is far from the case. Dave is well known in the UK indoor scene and is quite understated when discussing his own love of the game. As a student Dave taught a lot of players that "playing indoors is fine" and an acceptable form of the game. He is even known to discuss the finer points with self proclaimed indoor promoter Tom Styles; there were rumours of the two of them entering into a promotional stunt during the 2003 EUCs to big up the indoor game to a wider audience although Dave got sidetracked trying to find a way to remember the force.
The Chevron alumni have also jumped at the chance to champion Dane's commitment to the "no wind, no skill Ultimate". Si Weeks (Simonisaloser.co.uk) told us of Dane's joy at being Runners Up at the Chaos Christmas Tournament in 1996 which was just the start of things to come. This, being closely followed by Silver at the Village Indoors, was the first hint towards an Ultimate career dominated by coming second. Soon after was the infamous Chineapple Punks escapade where Dave, wanting to showcase his indoor talents, arranged for his cousin to come down to take photos so they could be posted on Dane's very own student website. Barnyard sill describes the pinnacle of his career to be pulling on that purple shirt and representing Druids in Copenhagen, Sweden in 1997. After a recent outdoor tournament Dane said "I'm already looking forward to the winter, the evenings getting darker, the air getting cooler and being able to start the long build up to Weston Indoors."
